TopVolt Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Effective date: November 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TopVolt, together with its divisions and affiliated companies (collectively, "TopVolt," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses personal information through topvolt.com, topvoltsolar.com, and any other website that links to this policy (the "Site").
The Site is built for businesses and professionals, including developers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners, investors, and job seekers. We do not sell products or take payments on the Site, so we do not collect credit card or other payment information through it.
This policy does not cover information we handle under a separate contract or notice, such as customer project agreements, or information we collect about our own employees.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information you choose to send us, limited technical information from your device, and business contact information from other sources.

Please do not send sensitive information through the Site, including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. We do not ask for this information on the Site.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to run our business and respond to you, including to:
- Answer inquiries, schedule meetings, and evaluate potential projects and business relationships
- Manage our relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and investors
- Review career inquiries and job applications
- Send occasional business updates, news, and event information, which you can opt out of at any time
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it
- Protect the Site against spam, fraud, and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims
We may also create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you and use it for any lawful business purpose.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working and secure and to understand how it is used. We describe our advertising plans below.
- Essential technologies support core functions such as page delivery, security, and form submissions. This includes Cloudflare Turnstile, the CAPTCHA on our Request A Meeting form. It checks signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, to tell people from automated programs. The form cannot be submitted without it, so the opt-out described below does not turn it off.
- Analytics technologies help us measure traffic and improve the Site. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which collects data such as your IP address, device information, and pages viewed.
- Advertising technologies. As of the effective date above, the Site does not use advertising or retargeting tags. We plan to advertise on social media and other platforms. When we do, we may use tags such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Meta Pixel. These tags let those platforms and their partners collect data such as your IP address, cookie and device identifiers, and pages viewed, so we can reach people who have visited the Site, show ads on other websites and apps, and measure results. We may also give those platforms contact details, such as a hashed email address, to create or exclude advertising audiences. We will update this policy before we begin.
- Other third-party services help deliver the Site, such as hosted web fonts. These providers may receive your IP address when your browser loads their content.
Your choices. You can opt out of analytics and advertising technologies at any time through the Your Privacy Choices link in the Site footer. Your choice is saved in that browser on that device, so you will need to set it again if you clear your browser data or use another browser or device. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, although parts of the Site may not work as intended. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Browser signals. The Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because there is no uniform standard for them. The Site treats a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of analytics and advertising technologies for that browser.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information for money. As of the effective date above, we do not share it for targeted advertising. If we begin the advertising described in Section 4, some state laws may treat those disclosures as a "sale" or "sharing," and you can opt out as described in Section 8. We disclose personal information only as described below:
- TopVolt companies: our divisions and affiliated companies, so the right team can respond and support our business
- Service providers: companies that work on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, customer relationship management, analytics, and security providers, including our CAPTCHA provider
- Advertising partners: if we begin the advertising described in Section 4, social media and advertising platforms, such as LinkedIn and Meta, which may use the data as described in their own policies
- Business partners: partners involved in a potential or active project, when relevant to your inquiry or when you ask us to connect you
- Legal and safety recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, and advisers, when needed to comply with the law, enforce our rights, or protect people and property
- Transaction parties: parties to an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
- Others with your direction: any other party, when you ask us to or agree to it
6. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining business relationships, meeting legal and recordkeeping requirements, and resolving disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security, Children, and International Visitors
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children. The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
International visitors. TopVolt is based in the United States, and we intend the Site for visitors in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Marketing emails. You can stop marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send messages about an active inquiry or business relationship.
Opting out of analytics and advertising. Anyone can opt out through the Your Privacy Choices link in the Site footer or by using a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You do not need an account or to verify your identity. This stops analytics and advertising technologies on the Site for that browser. To also ask us not to use your contact details for advertising audiences, email us as described below.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live and which laws apply to TopVolt, you may have the right to:
- Know or access the personal information we hold about you and receive a portable copy
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling
- Appeal our decision if we deny your request
How to make a request. Email hello@topvolt.com and tell us your state of residence and what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before responding, except for opt-out requests. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, and we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California residents. California law gives these rights to California residents, including people acting in a business or job-seeking capacity. In the past 12 months, we collected the categories of information listed in Section 2, from the sources listed there, for the purposes in Section 3. We disclosed those categories for business purposes to the recipients in Section 5. In the past 12 months, we have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including that of consumers under 16, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We keep each category for the period described in Section 6.
California residents may also ask for information about any disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not make those disclosures.
9. Third-Party Sites
The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as partner sites and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, so please review them before sharing information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on the Site and change the effective date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
